The grief process is never easy. Yet, the loss of a loved one to suicide is like no other. The nature of the loss adds to the complexity of emotions in the survivors, complicating the grieving process. The experience related is often traumatic and may trigger mixed emotions such as guilt, shame, regret, and/or a deep pain that is hard to explain. This traumatic experience can be isolating and shattering.
But you do not have to grieve alone. Having experienced the loss of a family member to suicide, I walked through the winding path of healing and grieving in the past seventeen years. It is from this heartfelt experience that I offer this space of healing and support. This is a safe space where you can find comfort, understanding, and support through the connection we build with one another.
Please feel free to contact me with any inquiries about the group or 8-week schedule for 2017-2018.
