Hello, y hola!
So, you’re considering starting some new healing or making some changes? I’d love to help. I’ve provided psychotherapy for over thirteen years. I have specialized training with LGBT folks and sexual outsiders, Latino people, parents of young children and teens, people struggling to reduce or eliminate harm from substance use, and people struggling with trauma.
My work takes into consideration your feelings, bodily experiences, thoughts, beliefs, behavior, identity and circumstances. I’m dedicated to helping you feel more satisfied with this one life you’ve got as YOU. It’s been an amazing honor to witness many clients using psychotherapy to overcome disabling effects of trauma, and using their power and hope to change their relationship with substance use. I’m currently limiting my work to helping people with drinking and/or marijuana problems.
In previous careers I worked as a massage therapist, a preschool teacher, a tech writer, and a children’s theatre and dance instructor. All my experiences influence my work as a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT45718). I hold an MA in Holistic Counseling Psychology from JFK University. I’m a graduate of the Hakomi Institute, a Certified EMDR Therapist, and a student of the Somatic Experiencing Training Institute. I’m pursuing certification in nutritional psychology.
